レコード棚を整理していたら、色々出てきた。自分の所有しているものは7in.が一番多い。その次は12in.。このデジタルな御時世にCDよりもEPやLPの方が圧倒的に多い。これらの音をデスクトップでも聞けるようにしたいが、アナログからデジタルデータ化するのはかなりめんどくさい。アナログとはいっても昔の古い音源というわけではない。たんに作者側の意向でアナログレコードでリリースしているというだけ。比較的最近のものなのでWeb上にデジタルデータとして存在しないか探してみた。すると旧譜は少ないが新譜中心に意外とみつかった。曲をまるごとアップしてくれているアーティストが多いので助かる。シングルカットしてある曲や、まだ発売されてない最新モノもいち早くダウンロードできるようにしてくれているレーベルもあった。

そこでネット上から入手可能なもので自分の気に入ったindiepopをかき集め、インディーポップ・プレイリストを作ってみた。自分の趣味で女性ボーカルでキュートなものがメインの構成。この世界に興味のある人はどうぞ♪(全てバンドorレーベルなどのオフィシャル関連にリンクですが、ダウソする人は自己責任で。)

自分の聴くジャンルはマイナーで大多数が海外のインディーもの。こういったバンドやレーベルの中にはP2Pを利用し、作品を広めたいと考えている人達がけっこうたくさんいるように思う。昔ナップスター全盛期の頃あるアーティストのアルバムをまるごと共有化していたら、たまたまそのバンドのメンバーもログインしており、こちらを見つけて「私達の曲を共有してくれてありがとう！」とメッセージが飛んできたことがあった。彼らのスタンスはメジャーとは違う、むしろ逆。現状ではこういったP2P推奨型アーティストまでが著作権野郎供のとばっちりを喰ってしまってとても残念だ。また、現在策定中の海外盤CD輸入禁止の法案が通ってしまった場合、国内でこの手のジャンルの流通にどれだけ影響が出るだろうか。どう考えてもマイナスになることがあってもプラスになることはないね。
