Windows 7に組み込まれているデスクトップ検索機能はWindows Search 4.0ベースなので、Windows Search 4.0のWindows 7用というものは存在しない。今更ながら再認識した。それからWindows Desktop Search 3.0以降でネットワークドライブ（リモートドライブ？共有ドライブ？）も検索対象に含める為のアドイン(Add-in)である UNCFATPHInstaller.msi だが、日本語のKB918996にあるものは古いかも知れないので注意。Windows 7をインストールした直後だとリモートドライブは検索対象に含めることができないので、このアドイン（アドオンとの区別が分からん）でなんとかなるかと思ったらUNCFATPHInstaller.msi(KB918996)はWindows 7に対応していないようだ。→対応しているようだWindows 7 Home Premiumにインストールしてみたら、「インデックスのオプション」→「詳細設定」でAdd UNC Locationが表示されるようになった。
